Cricket Events Available on CricHD
Cricket is our passion and we understand that for every cricket fan, cricket is more than just a game. For that reason, we are providing coverage for different domestic leagues and all the international cricket events. Cricket fans in United States can watch a number of different T20 leagues and franchise cricket tournaments. There are so many T20 leagues that will be available on CricHDIS out of which some are as follow:
IPL – Indian Premier League
The IPL is administered by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and remains the richest and most-watched T20 league in the world. The 2026 season (19th edition) concluded on May 31, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeating Gujarat Titans in the final to defend their title. The 2027 season (20th edition) will take place earlier than usual, from around March 10 to May 15, 2027. BCCI proposed the two-week shift forward to avoid peak summer heat and the pre-monsoon window. However, the official schedule is yet to announce. The tournament will again feature 10 teams across 74 matches. Each franchise privately owned by a mix of corporate groups and individuals. For instance, Chennai Super Kings is owned by India Cements under N. Srinivasan, while Reliance Industries owns Mumbai Indians.
PSL – Pakistan Super League
Organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the PSL completed its landmark 11th edition, branded HBL PSL 11, from March 26 to May 3, 2026 — a season that marked a major expansion from six to eight franchises, with Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi joining as new teams. Peshawar Zalmi won their second title, defeating debutants Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.
The PSL 2027 (12th edition) has not been officially scheduled by the PCB yet. The event might run from mid March to late May 2027, continuing the expanded eight-team format. Since its 2016 launch, PSL has become Pakistan’s flagship domestic T20 product and a key pipeline for national team talent.
CPL – Caribbean Premier League
The CPL is run by Cricket West Indies (CWI) and represents the entire Caribbean region rather than a single country. The 2026 season, the 14th edition, is scheduled from August 7 to September 20, 2026. It feature seven teams: Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Jamaica Kingsmen, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Saint Lucia Kings, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and Trinbago Knight Riders. Notably, this year’s final will be hosted in Barbados for the first time in tournament history, and St Vincent & the Grenadines will host CPL matches for the first time as well.
BPL – Bangladesh Premier League
Administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the BPL wrapped up its 12th season (2025–26 edition) from December 26, 2025 to January 23, 2026. The tournament featured six franchises — Dhaka Capitals, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Titans, Rajshahi Warriors, Chattogram Royals, and Noakhali Express. Previously, eight teams participated in the 2025-26 edition. Rajshahi Warriors won their second title, defeating Chattogram Royals in the final. The BPL 2026–27 (13th edition) is expected to run in the December 2026–January 2027.
ILT20 – International League T20
The ILT20 is organized by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) in the United Arab Emirates. Season 4 (branded DP World ILT20 2025–26) scheduled from December 2, 2025 to January 4, 2026, with Desert Vipers claiming their maiden title over MI Emirates. The league features six teams — Desert Vipers, MI Emirates, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, Sharjah Warriorz, and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. Several franchise teams share ownership groups with IPL franchises, including Knight Riders Group and Reliance’s MI brand. Season 5 has been shifted to a new window and is scheduled from November 22 to December 20, 2026.
Super Smash T20 League
New Zealand Cricket runs New Zealand’s domestic T20 competition and features six teams representing the country’s major regions. The 2025–26 season (its 21st edition) scheduled from December 26, 2025 to January 31, 2026, with Northern Brave winning their fifth title over Canterbury Kings in a thrilling six-wicket final at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
The 2026–27 season will continue in its usual format — New Zealand Cricket confirmed this in May 2026 after the planned launch of a new privately-run franchise league, NZ20, was pushed back to December 2027, meaning Super Smash remains New Zealand’s premier domestic T20 competition for at least one more year. Exact 2026–27 dates are yet to be announced. However, the tournament has historically run from late December to early February. The competition, first launched in 2005, runs alongside a parallel Women’s Super Smash on the same schedule.
Asian Legends League
Unlike the franchise T20 leagues above, the Asian Legends League (ALL T20) is a retired-players’ tournament, launched and commissioned by former India chief selector Chetan Sharma. It brings together former international stars in a country-versus-country format, with teams such as Indian Royals, Pakistan Panthers, Sri Lankan Lions, Bangladesh Tigers, and Afghanistan Pathans.
The inaugural 2025 edition was held in Rajasthan, India, with five teams; its second season in 2026 has expanded to six franchises. The league often described as a “Retired Players’ Asia Cup” bringing back names like Shakib Al Hasan, Kumar Sangakkara, and Yusuf Pathan.
BBL – Big Bash League
Cricket Australia administers Australia’s premier domestic T20 tournament. The 2025–26 season, BBL|15, scheduled from December 14, 2025 to January 25, 2026, with eight city-based franchises competing across 44 matches. Perth Scorchers defeated Sydney Sixers by six wickets in the final to claim their sixth title, making them the league’s most successful franchise.
The 2026–27 season (BBL 16) has already been confirmed to run from December 12, 2026 to January 26, 2027. It will make history by staging its opening match outside Australia for the first time. Melbourne Renegades take on defending champions Perth Scorchers at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India, before the tournament shifts to its usual Australian venues. The BBL, launched in 2011, remains one of the most attended domestic T20 leagues globally, drawing over a million fans across the 2025–26 season.
Abu Dhabi T10 League
This is the world’s leading 10-overs-a-side format, with matches lasting roughly 90 minutes. The 2025 edition (its 9th season) scheduled from November 18 to November 30, 2025, at Sheik Zayed Cricket Stadium. T10 league franchise teams are Deccan Gladiators, Team Abu Dhabi, Northern Warriors, Delhi Bulls, and Bangla Tigers.
In a major structural shift, the tournament changed hands in May 2026: the Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub (ADCSH), backed by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Emirates Cricket Board, took over majority ownership and commercial rights from its previous private organizer. The ownership turned it into a government-managed “national sporting asset.” Under this new structure, the 2026 edition (10th season) is confirmed for November 7 to 20, 2026, again at Zayed Cricket Stadium, with eight franchises invited to participate.
Major League Cricket (MLC)
Major League Cricket is administered by American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) in partnership with USA Cricket. The 2026 season, its fourth edition, kick-offs from June 18 to July 18, 2026. Six franchises compete in the tournament. MI New York entered as two-time defending champions after winning their second title in 2025.
The MLC 2027 (fifth edition) run across June and July 2027, retaining the same 34-matches. The league features six franchise teams which are Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings, Washington Freedom, and San Francisco Unicorns. Launched in 2019 and growing rapidly, MLC has posted record ticket sales and broadcast reach across 90-plus countries.
The Hundred
England’s 100-ball franchise competition is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The 2026 (sixth season) is scheduled from July 21 to August 16, 2026. 100-ball competition features eight men’s and eight women’s teams located in major UK cities, playing a combined 68 matches. Oval Invincibles enter as three-time consecutive men’s champions, while Northern Superchargers won their maiden women’s title in the previous edition. The Hundred remains a distinct format from traditional T20, using 100-ball innings split into five-ball overs.
Global Super League (GSL)
A newer addition to the calendar, the Global Super League is administered by Cricket West Indies and hosted entirely at Providence Stadium in Guyana. The 2026 edition — its third season — commences from July 23 to August 1, 2026, featuring five franchise teams drawn from other major T20 leagues, including Guyana Amazon Warriors, Lahore Qalandars, Perth Scorchers XI, San Francisco Unicorns, and Desert Vipers. This cross-league format.
SA20 League
South Africa’s premier T20 competition is organized by Cricket South Africa (CSA). The 2026 season scheduled from December 26, 2025 to January 25, 2026. The league consist of six franchises — several co-owned by IPL teams, such as MI Cape Town and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Sunrisers Eastern Cape defeated Pretoria Capitals by six wickets in the final to claim their third title.
The SA20 2027 (fifth edition) has already been confirmed to run from January 17 to February 21, 2027, opening in Gqeberha with a repeat of the 2026 final between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals, and closing with the final at Newlands, Cape Town. Since its 2023 launch, the SA20 has quickly become one of the most competitively stacked leagues due to its strong overseas player pool.
T20 Blast
Organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the T20 Blast (branded the Vitality Blast) is the world’s oldest professional T20 league, launched in 2003. It began two years before the IPL. The 2026 season, its 24th edition, kick-offs from May 22 to July 18, 2026, featuring all 18 English and Welsh county teams split into three regional groups for the first time. Northamptonshire won the title, defeating Hampshire in the final.
The 2027 season’s Finals Day has already been confirmed for July 17, 2027 at Edgbaston, Birmingham — the tournament’s home for finals since it moved there permanently — though the full 2027 group-stage schedule has not yet been released. A parallel Women’s T20 Blast commence alongside the men’s competition in 2026, with nine teams in League One.
